That day is a day of anger,A day of trouble and distress,A day of destruction and desolation,A day of darkness and gloom,A day of clouds and thick darkness,

A day of trumpet and battle cryAgainst the fortified citiesAnd the high corner towers.

I will bring distress on mankindSo that they will walk like those who are blind,Because they have sinned against the Lord;And their blood will be poured out like dust,And their flesh like dung.

Neither their silver nor their goldWill be able to save themOn the day of the Lord’s anger;And all the earth will be devouredBy the fire of His jealousy,For He will make a complete end,Indeed a horrifying one,Of all the inhabitants of the earth.

Gather yourselves together, yes, join together,You nation without shame,

Before the decree takes effect—The day passes like chaff—Before the burning anger of the Lord comes upon you,Before the day of the Lord’s anger comes upon you.

Seek the Lord,All you humble of the earthWho have practiced His ordinances;Seek righteousness, seek humility.Perhaps you will remain hiddenOn the day of the Lord’s anger.

여호와의 큰 날이 가깝도다 가깝고도 빠르도다 여호와의 날의 소리로다 용사가 거기서 심히 슬피 우는도다

내가 사람들에게 고난을 내려 맹인 같이 행하게 하리니 이는 그들이 나 여호와께 범죄하였음이라 또 그들의 피는 쏟아져서 티끌 같이 되며 그들의 살은 분토 같이 될지라
