Now David spoke the words of this song to the Lord on the day that the Lord had saved him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul.

He said,“The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;

My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge,My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge;My savior, You save me from violence.

4

I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised,And I am saved from my enemies.

5

For the waves of death encompassed me;The floods of destruction terrified me;

6

The ropes of Sheol surrounded me;The snares of death confronted me.

7

In my distress I called upon the Lord,Yes, I called out to my God;And from His temple He heard my voice,And my cry for help came into His ears.

8

Then the earth shook and quaked,The foundations of heaven were tremblingAnd were shaken, because He was angry.

9

Smoke went up out of His nostrils,And fire from His mouth was devouring;Coals were kindled by it.

10

He also bowed the heavens down low, and came downWith thick darkness under His feet.

11

He rode on a cherub and flew;He appeared on the wings of the wind.

12

He made darkness canopies around Him,A mass of waters, thick clouds of the sky.

13

From the brightness before HimCoals of fire were kindled.

14

The Lord thundered from heaven,And the Most High uttered His voice.

15

And He shot arrows and scattered them,Lightning, and routed them.

16

Then the channels of the sea appeared,The foundations of the world were exposedBy the rebuke of the Lord,From the blast of the breath of His nostrils.

17

He sent from on high, He took me;He drew me out of many waters.

18

He rescued me from my strong enemy,From those who hated me, for they were too strong for me.

19

They confronted me on the day of my disaster,But the Lord was my support.

20

He also brought me out into an open place;He rescued me, because He delighted in me.

여호와께서 다윗을 모든 원수의 손과 사울의 손에서 구원하신 그 날에 다윗이 이 노래의 말씀으로 여호와께 아뢰어

이르되 여호와는 나의 반석이시요 나의 요새시요 나를 위하여 나를 건지시는 자시요

He said,“The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;

내가 피할 나의 반석의 하나님이시요 나의 방패시요 나의 구원의 뿔이시요 나의 높은 망대시요 그에게 피할 나의 피난처시요 나의 구원자시라 나를 폭력에서 구원하셨도다

My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge,My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge;My savior, You save me from violence.

내가 찬송 받으실 여호와께 아뢰리니 내 원수들에게서 구원을 받으리로다

I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised,And I am saved from my enemies.

사망의 물결이 나를 에우고 불의의 창수가 나를 두렵게 하였으며

For the waves of death encompassed me;The floods of destruction terrified me;

스올의 줄이 나를 두르고 사망의 올무가 내게 이르렀도다

내가 환난 중에서 여호와께 아뢰며 나의 하나님께 아뢰었더니 그가 그의 성전에서 내 소리를 들으심이여 나의 부르짖음이 그의 귀에 들렸도다

이에 땅이 진동하고 떨며 하늘의 기초가 요동하고 흔들렸으니 그의 진노로 말미암음이로다

Then the earth shook and quaked,The foundations of heaven were tremblingAnd were shaken, because He was angry.

그의 코에서 연기가 오르고 입에서 불이 나와 사름이여 그 불에 숯이 피었도다

Smoke went up out of His nostrils,And fire from His mouth was devouring;Coals were kindled by it.

그가 또 하늘을 드리우고 강림하시니 그의 발 아래는 어두캄캄하였도다

He also bowed the heavens down low, and came downWith thick darkness under His feet.

그룹을 타고 날으심이여 바람 날개 위에 나타나셨도다

He rode on a cherub and flew;He appeared on the wings of the wind.

그가 흑암 곧 모인 물과 공중의 빽빽한 구름으로 둘린 장막을 삼으심이여

He made darkness canopies around Him,A mass of waters, thick clouds of the sky.

그 앞에 있는 광채로 말미암아 숯불이 피었도다

From the brightness before HimCoals of fire were kindled.

14

여호와께서 하늘에서 우렛소리를 내시며 지존하신 자가 음성을 내심이여

The Lord thundered from heaven,And the Most High uttered His voice.

15

화살을 날려 그들을 흩으시며 번개로 무찌르셨도다

15

And He shot arrows and scattered them,Lightning, and routed them.

16

이럴 때에 여호와의 꾸지람과 콧김으로 말미암아 물 밑이 드러나고 세상의 기초가 나타났도다

그가 위에서 손을 내미사 나를 붙드심이여 많은 물에서 나를 건져내셨도다

He sent from on high, He took me;He drew me out of many waters.

18

나를 강한 원수와 미워하는 자에게서 건지셨음이여 그들은 나보다 강했기 때문이로다

18

He rescued me from my strong enemy,From those who hated me, for they were too strong for me.

19

그들이 나의 재앙의 날에 내게 이르렀으나 여호와께서 나의 의지가 되셨도다

19

They confronted me on the day of my disaster,But the Lord was my support.

20

나를 또 넓은 곳으로 인도하시고 나를 기뻐하시므로 구원하셨도다

He also brought me out into an open place;He rescued me, because He delighted in me.
