사사기 14:4

그때에 블레셋 사람이 이스라엘을 다스린 까닭에 

삼손이 틈을 타서 블레셋 사람을 치려 함이었으나 

그의 부모는 이 일이 여호와께로부터 나온 것인 줄은 

알지 못하였더라

사사기 14:6

여호와의 영이 삼손에게 강하게 임하니 

그가 손에 아무것도 없이 그 사자를 염소 새끼를 

찢는 것같이 찢었으나 그는 자기가 행한 일을 

부모에게 알리지 아니하였더라

사사기 16:28

삼손이 여호와께 부르짖어 이르되 주 여호와여 구하옵나니 

나를 생각하옵소서 하나님이여 구하옵나니 

이번만 나를 강하게 하사 나의 두 눈을 뺀 블레셋 사람에게 

원수를 단번에 갚게 하옵소서 하고

사사기 16:30

삼손이 이르되 블레셋 사람과 함께 죽기를 원하노라 하고 

힘을 다하여 몸을 굽히매 그 집이 곧 무너져 그 안에 있는 

모든 방백들과 온 백성에게 덮이니 삼손이 죽을 때에 

죽인 자가 살았을 때에 죽인 자보다 더욱 많았더라

사사기 17:6

그때에는 이스라엘에 왕이 없었으므로 

사람마다 자기 소견에 옳은 대로 행하였더라

Judges 14:4

However, his father and mother did not know that this was of the LORD, for He was seeking an occasion against the Philistines. And at that time the Philistines were ruling over Israel. 

Judges 14:6

And the Spirit of the LORD rushed upon him, so that he tore it apart as one tears apart a young goat, though he had nothing in his hand; but he did not tell his father or mother what he had done. 

Judges 16:28

Then Samson called to the Lord and said, “Lord GOD, please remember me and please strengthen me just this time, O God, that I may at once take vengeance on the Philistines for my two eyes.” 

Judges 16:30

And Samson said, “Let me die with the Philistines!” And he pushed outwards powerfully, so that the house fell on the governors and all the people who were in it. And the dead whom he killed at his death were more than those whom he killed during his lifetime. 

Judges 17:6

In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes.
